Resolved: Oakland Internet Outage, 11/13/17

UPDATE: The internet is working again on the Oakland campus. 

At at 4am, Tuesday, November 14, ATT completed repaires on the fiber cable to the Oakland campus. 

If you continue to have trouble connecting to the internet or any other campus service from the Oakland network, please contact the helpdesk at helpdesk@cca.edu or call 510.594.5010.

The Oakland campus lost access to the internet around noon on Monday, Nov. 13. We've been told that the problem is a damaged fiber connection to CCA. ATT is currently working to restore access but as of 8:15pm, service is still out.

Services managed by CCA, such as Moodle and Webadvisor, are still available from inside the Oakland network. However, the internet and services managed off-site, such as Google and Workday, will not available from inside the Oakland network until repairs are completed.

Phones also working at this time.

We expect access to be restored before school starts on Tuesday morning. Please return here for updates.
