CCA Laptop Initiative
The CCA laptop initiative launched in Fall 2004 to meet the demands in a shift towards one-to-one technology use in the Graphic Design and Architecture programs. Currently, all Architecture, Graphic Design, Graduate Design, Interior Design, Industrial Design, Interaction Design, and Design in MBA Strategy students are required to own a laptop that meets our minimum technical requirements.

CCA Support for Student-owned Laptops
Educational Technology Services (ETS) staff are available to provide troubleshooting assistance and support for student-owned laptops with:
- Printing to selected campus printers
- Utilizing the campus wireless network
- Utilizing CCA dedicated network file storage
Unfortunately, due to the variety of issues that could cause a personally-owned computer to experience problems with the campus IT services listed above, we cannot guarantee that your issue will always be resolved.
Apple Hardware Repair Recommendations
For Apple computer repairs, we recommend you make an appointment at an Apple Genius bar. Appointments can be made online. Links to bay area Apple stores are provided on this website (see "Apple Support Reservations" on the right-side of this page). For Windows PC users, please check your computer's warranty info.
