Film Cage and Studios

Film Cage:

The Film Cage is an equipment cirulation center that can be used by anyone enrolled in the Film Program. Reservations must be made two days in advanced and students must have their CCA ID when picking up. Click here to review the full Film Cage Policy. Click here to view our inventory catalog. 



Studios:

CCA has several spaces dedicated to hands on learning for students enrolled in the Film Program. There are three digital video editing suites loaded with Adobe Creative Suite, an Audio Editing Suite, and a Production Stage with a green screen. Students can reserve these spaces outisde of class by going here, once they have been trained and varified by the Film Studio Manager (Maxwell Allen - mallen@cca.edu). 

 

Video Editing Suites:

CCA's Video Editing Suites are equipped with Mac Pros, Avid Artist Color, Mackie Big Knob, Adobe Creative Suite, Genelec Studio Monitors, Apple Cinema Display, Panasonic Video Monitors and more. 

 

Audio Editing Suites:

The Audio Editing Suite perfect for mixing and editing, foley, ADR and voice overs. It's equipped with a Mac Pro, Avid 003 Surface, Mackie Big Knob, Genelec Studio Monitors, Pro Tools, Adobe Creative Suite, Nuemann Microphone, foley supplies, MIDI Keyboard and isolation booth. 

 

Production Stage

The Production Stage is 2,100 sqft facility used for instruction and student work. Equipped with a green screen, lights, and various other production tools its a perfect blank slate for many projects. Click here to see Production Stage Rules and Equipment.
